Who owns toll road

TCA is able to facilitate such projects without placing a financial burden on taxpayers. Our two Boards of Directors consist of elected officials from each of our 17 member cities and the County of Orange. The Boards meet jointly, though some decisions are considered only by the Agency that a particular action will impact.

A small joint staff facilitates Board priorities. Three decades of success have paved the way for TCA. TCA is committed to working with our partners to ensure the more than 2 million drivers who use our roads continue to benefit from congestion-free alternatives that enhance quality of life. The same innovative thinking that led to the creation of the 73, , and Toll Roads will be relied upon to solve the transportation challenges of the future.

Opens in a new window. With The Toll Roads Rewards Program, accountholders who drive The Toll Roads at least once during the month will receive a special promotion from a local retail partner as a token of our appreciation. Do these foreign investors really think the American transportation mega-system is going to look the same 30 years from now? Yeah, brilliant. Better not think of driving cross country. Who needs money in their pocket!

This needs to stop now. We have a nutcase in Ohio trying this now and its just keeps getting worse by the day. The people in charge ran the state like the money would never end and now that it has. We are being told we need to sell ourselfs off to survive. Please there are better ways its just that no one in state, city or Government wants to really cut back to fix the problems like most people do running a real budget. The toll is based on traffic use and times of day.

They also regulate who police the road and who can tow broken down vehicles or accident vehicles. Great deflection, must blame the poor the rich have done nothing wrong, charging people various daily fees to drive is the problem not the poor. Stop letting your Fox news, special interest talking points divide us, when we need force. The American government is selling out this country to outsiders. They WILL pull the plug, and shut us down…you can bet on that.

We have been trying to get this stretch of highway widened for more than 25 years. I have read that all the toll roads in north Texas are owned by China! Seriously why would a state sell their toll roads. I was always under the assumption that when you paid a toll at some point in time the tolls would stop when it was paid off. In San Diego when the Coronado Bridge was paid for there were no more tolls. The tolls will never go away if you sell them to another country! As long as politicians think they can solve their financial problems by raising taxes instead of showing some responsibility in spending, we are doomed.

In Charlotte, NC a state Republican administration, of all things, approved toll lanes for Cintra that will cost our region tens of billions over the year contract on the excuse we have no money. It is too lengthy to get into here, but it really boils down to pay-offs to politicians for contracts. Cintra is building toll lanes in Charlotte NC. It would cost me 20 dollars a day to use them to and from work. These hot lanes will only increase the gridlock. Trucks cannot use them because the lanes are not being built thick enough to handle them.

These hot lanes have to make more money than any other toll project in the country but one to turn a profit. That will never happen. And NC has to pay a million dollars a year to Cintra for maintenance. Cintra will do what they almost always do…. That leaves the citizens on the hook for millions to possibly billions of dollars.

The Interstates were originally built to transport the military. This is treasonous and must stop. Cintra must be getting the goods on politicians to force them to comply.

Their parent company Ferrovial, also of Spain, has been indighted and is on trial for bribery charges for the Denver airport contract! This is not the first time for bribery and corruption charges for Ferrovial.

There have been several. Even their own toll road consortium went bankrupt for toll roads in Spain! Bankruptcy was written in the NC contract and Cintra comes out strong should they go bankrupt.

Every US tax payer if they go BK. What has this country come to? We need your help to get this stopped. RICO suit? Our govt is just too stupid to figure this out on their own and act accordingly.
